Groton, CT – December 2, 2014 – CURE Innovation Commons announced today that it is welcoming five Founding Sponsors who have pledged their support for The Commons, the exciting new office and laboratory space in Southeastern Connecticut.

The Founding Sponsors are Air Gas, American Laboratory Trading (ALT), Dilworth IP, Hydro Service and Supplies, and Wiggin and Dana. They have pledged to provide valuable mentoring, shared equipment, and deep discounts to the start-up and growing companies who locate at The Commons.

“We are thrilled that these distinguished service companies have stepped forward in support of The Commons and its mission,” said Susan Froshauer, Ph.D., president and CEO of CURE, the bioscience network of Connecticut.

CURE Innovation Commons will be a new facility for entrepreneurs, scientists, and service providers who want to build their businesses in a vibrant and collaborative community. The Commons will lease fully permitted, independent and shared laboratories and offices. It features conference rooms, co-working spaces, and a large meeting and event area. It will provide back-office support with industry-specific mentors and experts providing on-site office hours. Companies will have access to investors and educational programming.
