Pancreatic cancer is deadly:

  • It’s the fourth-leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States
  • The five-year survival rate is only seven percent
  • It will kill 72 percent of those diagnosed within a year of their diagnosis

It’s time to act. ALT urges you to join us in supporting the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and National Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month. The organization’s goal is to double the survival rate by 2020 through its strategy of raising funds for research, engaging in government and community outreach, and providing services and support for families and individuals living with the disease.
