CURE Innovation Commons

Cure Innovation Commons Logo

A bioscience space in Southeastern Connecticut for entrepreneurs, companies, scientists and service providers to develop their ideas and build their businesses in a vibrant and collaborative community! The CURE Innovation Commons will be housed in a former Pfizer facility in Groton, CT. Pfizer recently donated the facility to CURE Innovations, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of CURE. The Connecticut Bond Commission approved an allocation of $4.2 million to establish the bioscience incubator and fund the initial costs of renovations. CURE is a 501 (c)(3) not for profit organization.

The California Institute for Quantitative Biosciences (QB3) is a nonprofit research and technology commercialization institute spanning three University of California campuses in the San Francisco Bay Area: UC Berkeley, UCSF, and UC Santa Cruz. QB3’s domain is the quantitative biosciences: areas of biology in which advances are chiefly made by scientists applying techniques from physics, chemistry, engineering, and computer science. QB3@953 is located at 953 Indiana St. in the San Francisco neighborhood of Dogpatch.

LabCentral

A 28,000 square-foot facility in the heart of the Kendall Square, Cambridge, biotech innovation hub, LabCentral is a first-of-its-kind shared laboratory space designed as a launchpad for high-potential life-sciences and biotech startups. It offers fully permitted laboratory and office space for as many as 25 startups comprising approximately 100 scientists and entrepreneurs. LabCentral provides first-class facility and administrative support, skilled laboratory personnel, a domain-relevant expert speaker series ‒ as well as the other critical services and support that early-stage companies need to begin laboratory operations on day one.
