The Hewlett Packard 1100 Series G1328A Manual Injector with Rheodyne 7725I High Pressure Stainless Steel Injection Valve functions by a loading a sample into the sample loop through the injection port at the front of the valve. The valve has a ceramic stator and Vespel injection seal. A make-before-break passage in the stator ensures flow is not interrupted when the valve is switched between the "inject" and "load" positions, and back again. The valve is mounted on a steel mounting pole and can be installed at the leftor right-hand side of the LC system.
