The Agilent Technologies 6320 (G2446A) Ion Trap Mass Spectrometer is designed to be combined with an Agilent HPLC to create a complete LC/MS system. The mass spec consists of the following components:
- Interface to generate ions
- Ion optical elements to guide the ions from the interface to the mass analyzer (ion trap)
- Ion trap to collect ions and then release them according to mass-to-charge ratio
- Ion detector to convert ions to a mass spectrum
- Vacuum pumps to keep system at low pressure and ensure efficient ion transmission and detection
Please note: system includes vacuum pump.
