The Barnstead Electrothermal  Electromantle MV, Cat. No. EM3000/CX1 offers a maximum temperature of 450°C. The electrothermal aluminum housing is chemical resistant, tough, lightweight and easy to clean. The built-in controller regulates element temperature while air flow through ventilation slots beneath and around the rim and case keep the exterior safe to the touch. The flexible coiled heating element provides good heat transfer while absorbing shock, minimizing the risk of flasks breaking. The heating element and insulation form an easily replaced heating cartridge. The Heater On and Power On lights indicate the status of the mantle. A stainless steel grounding screen provides added protection.
