FisherBiotech Electrophoresis Systems Autoradiography Cassettes are very strong because of their monocoque construction. With this construction, any high impact on the cassette is distributed over the whole cassette. It has a lead-lined door with a thickness of .005" which limits scattered radiation and maintains the autoradiographic integrity. They contain a latching system that will not open accidentally to expose film, but are otherwise easily opened. This integral light lock eliminates the need for lint-producing light barriers. Their metal hinges will withstand a temperature of -70°C as well as the ordeals of normal laboratory use.
- Feature superior strength, long-term durability and unsurpassed reliability
- These cassettes are easy to close or open, even in the darkroom, yet they lock out all light
- L-PLUS® intensifying screens provide optimum balance of speed and resolution in most autoradiographic applications
