The Spectra-Tech Model 302 Continuously Variable Angle ATR P/N 0012-015 for PerkinElmer 1700 and 2000 FT-IR spectrometers is designed for use in academic research, depth profiling, surface studies and qualitative analyses of pliable solid samples. The angle can easily be adjusted between 30° and 60° while samples may be placed on each side of the crystal to maximize the number of reflections for increased pathlength. The crystal is held in a uniquely designed holder to ensure repeatable sample-to-crystal contact pressure from one experiment to another.
