The Techron 7780 Power Amplifier is one of Techron's most powerful single-channel amplifiers with an output capability of over 50 amperes peak at its rated voltage. A single 7780 is powerful enough for many applications and versatile enough to be combined with additional TEC7700 series amplifiers to drive large industrial or medical imaging systems.
The Techron VC7780 model is a Techron 7780 that has been modified by the manufacturer for Varian with all opto isolators added for Varian -208V.
Over 4,000 watts peak output; 2858 watts rms into a 2 ohm load. Systems output of 500 volts and 200 amperes maximum are possible with multiple, interconnected amplifiers.
Voltage bandwidth from dc to over 20kHz. Higher frequencies are possible, depending on application.
Selectable controlled current or controlled voltage models.
Front panel green, yellow, orange and red LEDs indicate amplifier status, including Ready, Standby, Overage and Fault indicators.
Designed to survive input overloads, continuous operation under demanding conditions and improper output connections - including improper loads.
Installs into a standard 19-inch rack or stands alone for benchtop operation.
Backed by techron's application engineering, service facilities, and a one year warranty.
