The Applied Biosystems GeneAmp PCR System 9700 with 96-Well Copper Sample Block Module utilizes precise temperature control and rapid temperature changes to conduct the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR.) The user interface consists of a control panel with a full numeric keypad, soft keys, and a graphical display screen that shows the time and temperature profile for each run. The sample block module can be removed and replaces with another sample block module to change ample well formats and throughput capacity.
