The Drummond Scientific Co. Pipet-Aid Xp 1 Channel Motorized Pipette Controller, was specifically designed to minimize operator fatigue. Depressing the top button fills the pipet, depressing the lower button empties it. The flow rate is proportional to the amount each button is depressed with nine independently controlled fill and empty speed range options. Each button has three speeds: F for Fast, M for Medium and S for Slow. Fast can be used for rapid filling of large pipets or breaking up cell clumps; Medium is suitable for most routine techniques; and slow speed is ideal when using small pipets or when more precise delivery is required.
