OpenTrons OT-2 Liquid Handler

The OpenTrons OT-2 Liquid Handler is a a benchtop liquid handler designed to streamline experiments and increase efficiency. This unit supports various biochemical assays, including: PCR, qPCR, RT-PCR, Next-generation sequencing (NGS), Synthetic biology, Protein purification, Sample and library preparation and Bead based processing.    

The OpenTrons OT-2 Liquid Handler has a maximum of nine channels with a single and eight channel pipette. It has a maximum dispense volume of 1000ul with a 100ul tip. The OT-2’s single channel electronic pipettes can automate liquid handling and pipetting for most daily wet lab applications.

The OT-2 Liquid Handling robot runs on the Opentrons App, free software available via the Opentrons website for Mac (macOS versio 10.10 or later), Windows (version 10 or later), or Linux (Ubuntu 20.04 or later).
