The VWR CAT: 89131-484 UV Crosslinker is a powerful source of UV radiation. It features a preset and manual control, flexible and reliable setting controls, LED display, pullout drawer for easy sample placement, and door window blocks UV radiation. It is used not only for attaching nucleic acids to a membrane, but also for sterilization and decontamination of plates, small tools, and etc. UV radiation can be controlled when exposing samples. When sample exposure is done, the UV sensors automatically deactivates the UV sources when UV energy dose has been achieved. The crosslinker has multiple set functions, present energy and time exposure, and UV energy and time exposure.
