The Molecular Devices Spectramax M2E Multi-Mode Plate Reader with StakMax is standard for UV/ visible multi-mode reader absorbance for 96 and 384 well micro-plates It can eliminate the standard curves by allowing the calculation of concentrations directly form the absorbance with a known extinction coefficient, as exemplified with nucleic acid and protein quantitation. The Molecular Device M2E offers the highest level of flexibility, which gives the user the option to select either from top or bottom read modes for improved sensitivity.
